If the UIL does not eliminate or substantially change Appendix B - the rule that requires a computer to override everything including good judgment - then I would suggest each coach have a protest written and waiting for use during the meet. According to the UIL, the NFHS rules require all protests to be submitted in writing within ONE HOUR. I've never seen that but that is what they are saying.
