Aren't we fortunate the USOC doesn't use money from the feds? If they did, Title IX would apply, right? Using the gender quota system, we'd have to balance out the squad, wouldn't we?
Ridiculous, isn't it?
269 women and 261 men make up the 2012 USA Olympic team. They earned their spots by taking advantage of the opportunities that were available.
