...which schools would you put in the top ten?
Anonymous comment on "A Few Results" asked:
Are there any State HS "Rankings" for Texas Swimming and Diving, like they have in many of the other UIL sports?
You should probably have Highland Park at the top of your girls' 4A list. They went toe-to-toe with defending state champs Frisco last month. Results are here.
Those Fighting Scot swim parents are pretty quick, too. They ran the fastest dual meet I'd ever seen. The only way to slow them down is to throw in a ten-minute five hundred freestyler!

Ummm, I could probably help out there...
Interesting - even cross country has a state poll. How did they do it?

i'll go you one better.
shocking, but true:
even football has a state poll!
them feller's smarter'n ya think...
I'm in, Nostrabutton, the will of the masses is upon you to initiate a state wide poll. Select your voters, or leave it wide open to an open vote.
Indiana has a poll and it's based on the coaches participation. It uses the previous state and sectional results. Coaches send their meet results to 1 coach to formulate the girls and 1 for the guys.
This has been brought up at the TISCA meetings too.
like i need something more to do...
reminds me of a funny shirt i saw at nationals a long time ago.
swimmer was squished in a press - arms, legs, and head sticking out all over. coach was tightening it down.
it said something like 'give it another turn, coach. i work better under pressure.'

is there a site that keeps up with regular season H.S. swimming results? TISCA great for TISCA, Regionals, and State results. How about duals? Mainly interested in SLC results. Thanks.
If you want SLC results, just e-mail Kevin.murphy@southlakecarroll.edu and he will be pleased to share those with you, as long as you are willing to share back in return.
