First Kennedale Runs

Tonight we took the Duster to the track for a few test runs. We didn't nearly go all-out, but I thought the times/speeds weren't bad for us first-timers.

I got a very slow start on my one (and only) run, but got up to 73 in the 1/8 mile. Junior made three runs and got the Iron Beast up to 74.

It was a lot of fun and now it's time to learn what it takes to improve.

looks like reaction time - old man ;)

one must also consider the payload behind the steering wheel!

you mean a reaction time of around .5 isn't good?

It sounds like there is a loose nut behind the steering wheel. If you could tighten that up it should be faster. That payload factor will come into play.

I'd like to time Bertha2 WOT for the 1/8 mile, but I'd have to find a gas station between the starting line and the finish line.
