Quote of the Day

I was told over and over again that I would
never be successful, that I was not going
to be competitive and the technique was
simply not going to work. All I could do
was shrug and say "We'll just have to see."

when the sport was thought of the intent was to mimic the real world like jumping over all wall (no padding) and land on feet. So has swimming - tell me how you would do so many underwaters in a lake or ocean. They should limit the kickouts to the dive for 15M but have the kickouts limited on the turns. just saying

when we want to mimic the real world in our sport, we swim open water races.

cap2k is in austin in two months. it's a one-way 'race ya from right here to down there' straight-away event.

true but open water is distance swimming how bout a sprint across the river or swim thru the wave to the beach or sharks and minnows with real sharks
