Kasic on Kutztown (a.k.a. Cuts-Town)

A recent interview on The Steve Largent show included Allison Kasic and former football player/coach John Parker.

The discussion on Title IX focused on the recent sports cuts at Kutztown University.

Parker:

The entire spirit of the law has been twisted...it was made to create more opportunities for women, not to take away opportunities from male students.

I don't care what level you're at, there's not very many athletic programs that are running in the black. Most of them are running in the red.

Kasic:

Proportionality...is really at the crux of the problem, from an enforcement standpoint. That's what's creating these perverse incentives to cut teams.
