This was a First!
Had never seen this one.
Seems a school managed to get their district meet entries in and were on the heat sheet in nearly every event.
Then they failed to show for the district meet.
Schedule error had everyone scrambling to show up, but by the time they arrived kids had already missed events.
Y'all know what that means in championship meets, right?

Ouch, I feel bad for the kids and the coach and the parents etc.

very sad indeed. it was school i coached at back in 04-05, wharton. a little 3a school with an enthusiastic parent group and some talented swimmers. it was a shocker!

very small district meet, so they'd have had quite a few advance to region.
don't think they had any seniors, so at least it didn't end careers.
I can think of one person's career that might be over!
