Quote of the Day

What I tell all these young lawyers is to read
Harper Lee's book To Kill a Mockingbird.
Read that book once a year.  Kinda get
your mind set that there is a way to get
justice, but you're going to have to
fight for it in this country.

Finally, 54-year old Glen Bruemmer died during the swim portion of yesterday's Ironman in The Woodlands.  More here

McAfee said multiple people tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate Bruemmer.

Organizer Scott Langen said the event continued for the many others who had trained and prepared for months, but said a dark cloud remained over the celebrations at the finish line.

"As far as the family, our hearts go out to them, and immediately when an incident like that occurs, our shift in focus goes to that family," Langen said.

Bruemmer's cause of death has not yet been released.
