I was lucky to see Charley Pride perform at the New York State Fair in the early 70's*.
It was one of the many free outdoor concerts they have each year...except when there's a pandemic.

Went quite often back in those days, hanging out with my cousins while they took care of their cows for the show.
Pride was a special guy. What a legend!
*Just looked it up. It was in August of 1973.
