AP Duped by WSF?

It looks like the Associated Press is finding out what we've known all along:

The Women's Sports Foundation cranks out bogus stats and expects John Q. Public to accept them without question.

This is what Eric McErlain had to say:

Here's the bottom line: the WSF study is unreliable and their public release is intellectual dishonesty of the worst sort, especially since the consequences of their advocacy means the continued elimination of so many athletic opportunities because of their whitewashing of Title IX's proportionality requirement.

First Kennedale Runs

Tonight we took the Duster to the track for a few test runs. We didn't nearly go all-out, but I thought the times/speeds weren't bad for us first-timers.

I got a very slow start on my one (and only) run, but got up to 73 in the 1/8 mile. Junior made three runs and got the Iron Beast up to 74.

It was a lot of fun and now it's time to learn what it takes to improve.

Time for Clarity on Title IX

Title IX reformers aren't opposed to the notion that men and women should have equal opportunities in all areas of education. I've never heard someone from our "side" of this issue make such a ridiculous statement.

Rather, we're driven to change the way the law is interpreted and enforced.

Radical feminists, on the other hand, have worked hand-in-hand with organizations like the WSF to turn Title IX into something it was never intended to be - a way to exact revenge for past inequities by increasing women athletes' opportunities at the expense of their male counterparts.

I still can't help but wonder what twisted logic can possibly lead them to believe they're doing the right thing!

How can they defend the fact that universities throughout country have swimming pools that are home to women-only swim teams?

Leon's busy trying to win $10,000 this weekend in Sharkathon 2008. All he has to do is drag in a 10+ foot shark at Padre Island National Seashore. The tournament had been scheduled for September, but was postponed due to Hurricane Ike.
