Kids in California can choose to "cross over" to a different gender for athletic purposes?
(via The Escapist) |
Check out California Assembly Bill 1266 here. Governor Brown signed it into law back in August.
This bill would require that a pupil be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records.
Soooo...if Johnny thinks (s)he's really a Janie, (s)he can suit up for the swim meet in the female locker room and swim in the girl's meet?
Wonder if any of the legislators who sent this garbage to the governor would be okay with their daughters being put in that situation!
Thanks for the heads up, RR!
this country is going down :-(
ReplyDeleteOne way to attack the Title Ninestas, will the NCAA now have to sponsor an Other sex championship? Rene Richards would be proud.
