What does "Texas Edition" really mean?

Truck I just purchased is a "Texas Edition" Ford F-150.  Since I'd never paid attention to what that means, I checked out a Ford forum where folks were discussing that very issue.

I thought the Texas Edition gave you the abilty to cross three lanes of traffic without looking. Run any red light or stop sign in your path. Drive at least 15 mph over the speed limit. And the ability to put your rubber boots upside down between the cab and bed.
