I agree, but imo, it's not the 'mismanagement' of govt, it's the nature of govt itself that's the problem. Using a monopoly of force to confiscate wealth and redistribute it is a poor model for peaceful relations between any group of people. The 'public' is just a very large group of individuals that takes from other individuals.
