Time for Clarity on Title IX

Title IX reformers aren't opposed to the notion that men and women should have equal opportunities in all areas of education. I've never heard someone from our "side" of this issue make such a ridiculous statement.

Rather, we're driven to change the way the law is interpreted and enforced.

Radical feminists, on the other hand, have worked hand-in-hand with organizations like the WSF to turn Title IX into something it was never intended to be - a way to exact revenge for past inequities by increasing women athletes' opportunities at the expense of their male counterparts.

I still can't help but wonder what twisted logic can possibly lead them to believe they're doing the right thing!

How can they defend the fact that universities throughout country have swimming pools that are home to women-only swim teams?

  1. This is nothing short of the politics of resentment that looks at every issue through a gender lens and is blatantly designed to hurt males and their progeny.

The angry radical feminists behind these efforts see society itslef as discriminatory -- they want to socially engineer society to get girls to stop playing house and to renounce the color pink in favor of blue. Why stop at sports and the sciences? They should get little girls to play football instead of going to ballet lessons.

Perhaps if they stopped pushing girls into very unscientific Women's Studies programs that teach our daugthers one thing only -- how to feel like victims -- they would feel more comfortable taking courses that actually helped prepare them to be productive members of society.
