Iowa City? Count Me Out!
via CounsilmanHunsaker |
On the one hand, at least they didn't wait until March 28th to let folks know.
Local officials in Iowa City had better find a way to convince the university to reconsider.
Otherwise, NCAA-member schools should pressure the organization to move the championships.
NISCA should support a change in venue and announce their intentions to reschedule their annual convention as well.
If Iowa moves forward with their plan to wipe out aquatics, rewarding the folks in Iowa City with the economic boost that comes with this meet would be a huge mistake.

Media: Ignorami or Falsifiers?
When folks in the media use statistics to push their agendae, maybe this disclaimer should be required:
Correlation does not necessarily imply causation!
Am wondering if members of the media could have gotten this question from the 2017 STAAR test correct:
Quote of the Day

have succeeded fairly well.
