Olympics Dumping Wrestling?
Y'all thought ballroom dancing as a demonstration sport was idiotic, right?
Looks like the IOC is taking stupidity to a new level by dropping wrestling...and considering wakeboarding as a replacement.

Time for tiddly-winks to make a statement for inclusion in the Olympic Games....
Liberals and Feminists don't like "men's" sports and wrestling is about as "manly" a warrior sport as there is! Men were made to be warriors, but the "peace-niks" are overrunning the farm. How can there even be an Olympics without wrestling? I am not even a great wrestling fan, but when two men "battle" mano-a-mano, it is pretty impressive what they can do, both technically and physically. A true athletic sport!
So sad for all the kids with Olympic wrestling dreams. First the Title Nine folks broke wrestling in the USA colleges, now they are going after it on the Olympic Stage. Truly amazing!!
But, as is always the case, money talks, and wrestling has not held onto its popularity among a paying spectator fan base. If the paid customers are not showing up, then the Olympic decision-makers just throw the sport on the discard pile and find some other bogus activity that people will pay to see.
The message becomes, if no one is paying to watch your sport, then your sport is not worthy of inclusion in the Olympic Games!
