Post-Season Awards

In the Big XII:

Women's Newcomer for 2011 was A&M's Breeja Larson.

In men's diving, A&M's Grant Nel and Jay Lerew took diver and coach of the year, respectively.

In women's swimming, Karlee Bispo and Kim Brackin were swimmer and coach of the year, respectively.

On the men's side, UT's Jimmy Feigen (swimmer), Michael McBroom (newcomer), and Eddie Reese (coach) swept the Big XII awards for 2011.

In Conference USA:

SMU's Audra Egenolf
and Sascha Van den Branden were named to the women's conference all-academic team.



Van den Branden was also recognized for her work outside the classroom and Perkins Natatorium. Her community service work garnered her the Conference USA Winter Spirit of Service award. Read more here.

At Texas A&M:

Aggie scholastic supervisor Chris Barttelbort was recognized for his outstanding work with the A&M women's swimming and track squads. Barttelbort has pushed the swimming and diving brainiacs to the athletic department's highest team GPA four times! Read more about the Ed Guthrie award winner here.

    Didn't Purdue have like 4 divers in the finals? How is it that theirs isn't coach of the year?

    purdue is in the big ten. which currently has eleven schools. that will soon be the big twelve. that will happen at the same time the big xii becomes the big x. easy to get it all mixed up. no telling when conference shuffling will slow down, right?
